- Queensland pine (though not a true pine).

Tree Characteristics:
- A tall elegant tree, with tufts of foliage at the tips of its thin branches.
- The average height is about 100ft, with a trunk diameter of about 3ft 3in.
Characteristics of the wood:
- A straight grained fine textured wood. Similar to Parana in appearance, it has wide light brown heartwood
- It is not durable.
Workability:
- Works well with hand and machine tools, but requires a keen cutting edge to avoid tearing the grain around the knots.
- It glues well.
Average dried weight:
- 35lb/cuft.
Finishing:
- Takes paint well and can be polished to a fine attractive finish.

- Furniture.
